6 Steps to a Better Profile Page

Post a good smiling picture of yourself, if you haven’t already – makes your page look complete and more attractive
Have a literary friend or relative proof your page – good grammar and correct spelling are always a plus

When writing your About Me section, keep it upbeat and positive. Debt is a drag – or you wouldn’t be on Lily’s List. But we think it’s better to talk about the positive things in your life. What are your dreams and aspirations? How is debt hurting those dreams? Much more interesting.
Don’t forget to send a ‘Thank You’ to anyone who gives you a donation – whether it’s from family, a friend, or a Student of the Week sponsor. A Thank You means a LOT.
Finally, don’t forget that you have two other spots for pictures besides your profile pictures. Use them. Pictures tell a thousand words.
