Happy Birthday to You!

Let us send out an announcement on your behalf when it’s your birthday (or actually ANY special day) to your friends and family with the suggestion that they may like to surprise you with a little Lily’s List gift donation. E-mail us to let us know your special dates.

Refer an Advertiser

You can help us help you by providing links to local businesses that might be interested in advertising on the Lily’s List website. Think of businesses in your home town that may benefit from the networking possibilities. The more advertising dollars generated, the more those profits can be shared with all Lily’s List members.

6 Steps to a Better Profile Page

  1. Post a good smiling picture of yourself, if you haven’t already – makes your page look complete and more attractive
  2. Have a literary friend or relative proof your page – good grammar and correct spelling are always a plus
  3. Share your page – let friends and relatives know about your membership. For a sample email introduction go to How to tell Friends and Family
  4. When writing your About Me section, keep it upbeat and positive. Debt is a drag – or you wouldn’t be on Lily’s List. But we think it’s better to talk about the positive things in your life. What are your dreams and aspirations? How is debt hurting those dreams? Much more interesting.
  5. Don’t forget to send a ‘Thank You’ to anyone who gives you a donation – whether it’s from family, a friend, or a Student of the Week sponsor. A Thank You means a LOT.
  6. Finally, don’t forget that you have two other spots for pictures besides your profile pictures. Use them. Pictures tell a thousand words.

Refer a New Member and Get $5

$5 may not seem like much, but it also doesn’t take much effort to send out an e-mail to your friends suggesting they sign up on Lily’s List – and for every friend that does, you’ll get $5 deposited directly to your student loan account.
