Hello! Thanks for taking the time to view my profile and also thanks in advance for making a contribution to my student loans. I am originally from Seoul, South Korea but moved to Illinois when I was 7. I moved back to Seoul for 3 years when I was 13 where I experienced something very sad that made me want to become an Architect. In the same month a shopping center and bridge collapsed and many people died. At that moment I knew I wanted to become an Architect to design and build structures that were safe. I received my BA in Architecture at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 02'. I also attended University of Florida for my masters in Architecture and Illinois Institute of Technology for my certificate in Construction Management. I am currently working as a residential architect designing high end custom homes. I have gone to school as long as a doctor and accumulated as much debt as a doctor, but am not making what a doctor makes. I love what I do but since the slump of the real estate market there is not much work. I just gave birth to beautiful baby boy this spring. Since I did not have any help paying for my education and I put myself through 8 years of college and grad school, I want to provide the best for him and save as much money as I can for his college tuition. In order to do that I have to take care of my debt. Thanks for hearing my story and any contribution is appreciated.
